If I ever go back to redo this character, I'll remove a lot of the noisy scales and try to use less alphas on the sculpt and more carving scales by hand (like I did around the mouth/nose on it). A lot of work, but it turns out so much better than the noisy scale alphas. I would also make the arm and legs much smaller to fit with the proportions in the concept.. unfortunately this was made for a mod project and had to be built to fit an existing skeleton so the animations would work properly. :/
